On Friday, May 4, 2012, Dr. Chanda Nicole Holsey, Founder, HALO for Families, served as faculty for the National Medical Association's (NMA) 2012 Region III Annual Meeting and Scientific Assembly, where the theme was "Battling Disparities in the Gulf Coast:  Learning from Legends, Closing the Gaps, Separated Yet Together." 

Dr. Holsey's talk was entitled "Disparities in AsthmaCare, Management, and Education among Children with Asthma."  In her talk, she addressed asthma care disparity issues and research in the U.S., and provided an update on the NMA's national Asthma and Allergy Rescue Project.
